Free Witch Hat Crochet Amigurumi Pattern

It’s October! Are you enjoying the spooky season? Halloween is right around the corner and many people have been picking up their scary yarn projects again. If you’re late to the party, don’t worry. Today I have a pattern for you that will instantly turn any amigurumi you have into a Halloween-ready prop: a free witch hat pattern!

You will need:

  • Some leftover black yarn
  • Your favorite crochet hook

You can pick any yarn you like, as long as you pick a matching crochet hook. Thicker yarn with a bigger hook will results in a larger hat. In the picture, the hat on the left was made with Paintbox Cotton DK and a 2.25 mm hook. It is 3 cm (1.2 inches) tall. The one on the right was made with DROPS Paris yarn and a 3.25 mm hook. It turned out to be 5 cm (2 inches) tall.
